The published version of Fig. 2 and the associated caption should be amended as shown below:

Fig. 2 The relationship between the double helical (A), hairpin (B) and trefoil-knot (C) structures. In each case a single (PP) enantiomer has been depicted and for consistency, the trefoil knot is shown in the (coordinated) D2 rather than the more familiar D3 form. The linkage shown is head-to-tail, which leads to the trefoil knot rather than a macrocycle.
