In the abstract, the sentence

“Comparison of the products observed, with those expected for metallacyclic and Cossee-type mechanisms, suggests that the latter is in operation, something confirmed by the results of a C₂H₄/C₂D₄ co-dimerisation experiment which showed full isotopic scrambling in the products.”

Should be replaced by

“The products observed from a C₂H₄/C₂D₄ co-dimerisation experiment showed full isotopic scrambling, and some α-olefin substrate is isomerised during dimerisation catalysis, suggesting that a Cossee-type mechanism is most likely in operation.”

In Figure 9, intermediate A was incorrect. The corrected scheme below shows the correct structure for intermediate A and the formation of the new corresponding products (3 and 4-decene rather than 4 and 5-decene).
