The authors accidentally made a few mistakes in the numbering of some compounds: the complex referred to as 24, p. 1723, is actually complex 22. Similarly, p. 1724, the discussion of the NMR analysis refers to nickel(II) complex 19, not to copper(II) complex 20.

The Royal Society of Chemistry apologises for these errors and any consequent inconvenience to authors and readers.
