The following corrections should be made to the manuscript:

1. Fig. 4
1) “Tumor volume and weights of A2780S (A and B) was measured on the indicated days” should be: “Tumor volume and body weights was measured on the indicated days and presented in (A) and (B), respectively.”

2. Section 3.8:
1) “the apical proteases in the extrinsic pathways” should be: “the apical proteases in the intrinsic pathways”.
2) “Collectively, we proposed that quercetin triggers apoptosis through the intrinsic pathway but not the extrinsic pathway” should be: “Thus, we propose that quercetin can act as intrinsic stimuli to trigger the apoptosis of ovarian cancer cells”.

3. Section “4. Discussions”:
1) “Moreover, a mouse ovarian cancer subcutaneous model was employed to investigate the effect of quercetin on tumor growth inhibition” should be: “Moreover, a xenograft ovarian cancer model was employed to investigate the anticancer effect of QU/MPEG-PCL nanoparticles in vivo”.
2) “This indicated that the apoptosis mechanism may be by the mitochondrial pathway. The mechanism of quercetin-induced apoptosis in ovarian cancer is consistent with breast cancer and liver cancer” should be: “This indicated that the quercetin can act as intrinsic stimuli to induce the apoptosis of human A2780S ovarian cancer cells”.
3) “This indicated that the apoptosis mechanism of ovarian cancer cell by quercetin was via the mitochondrial pathway” should be: “This also indicated that the quercetin can induce the apoptosis of human A2780S ovarian cancer cells via the mitochondrial pathway.”
