The y-axis of Fig. 4C should read Average Strain, measured by averaging the strain between 15 and 30 seconds after stress is applied.

The data for unrecovered strain as a function of applied stress is plotted below. Unrecovered strain is measured by the difference of strain, defined as the difference in strain prior to and after a creep measurement is made. Data shown is for R = 0 (closed squares), R = 0.025 (open circles), and R = 0.05 (closed triangles).

The change in this figure does not change any of the conclusions in our manuscript.
