The North Staffordshire RSC Local Section heat for 2021 presents a team challenge: create a poster showing how chemistry can tackle a problem in sustainability. With COP-26 taking place, we want to teams to showcase what chemistry can do to tackle climate change, inequality, and other challenges. The poster should relate to one or more of the United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals.
Teams should be made up of two year 9s, one year 10 and one year 11 student.
Schools can submit one or two teams.
The first prize is to represent the local section at the national final (planned to be a face to face event but with a virtual contingency). Second and third prizes will also be awarded by the local section. All teams and schools participating will receive electronic certificates celebrating their involvement.
