More free, high quality content for your library
New journals launching in 2016
When we launch a new journal we make the content free to access for two years. This gives you and your library users the opportunity to get a feel for our new publications and evaluate whether your library should purchase them.
Register and make sure your library has access to:
- Environmental Science: Water Research & Technology (free until the end of 2016)
Launched last year, this journal showcases high quality research and innovative technologies that promote sustainable water resources.
- Nanoscale Horizons (free until the end of 2017)
Nanoscale Horizons works alongside Nanoscale to provide a rounded view of innovation in nano research, and bridge the various disciplines involved with nanoscience and nanotechnology.
- Reaction Chemistry & Engineering (free until the end of 2017)
Our first dedicated engineering journal, and a high impact home for multi-scale understanding of reactions – from fundamental, molecular level chemistry to large scale chemical processes.
How to access our new journals:
If you are an existing customer (a library who has an active subscription to one or more of our journals with an IP address registered), then you do not need to do anything. We will automatically give the IP addresses registered access.
If you are not an existing customer then please complete our registration form and we will ensure you have access to our free content.
Always free-to-access content
Open access is one of our strategic priorities, supporting our mission to advance excellence in the chemical sciences.
That’s why at the beginning of 2015 we made our flagship journal Chemical Science gold open access; making it free to every reader. We have also waived the article processing charges for all articles published in 2015 and 2016. Find out more about Chemical Science.
ChemSpider is a free chemical database providing fast access to over 34 million structures, properties and associated information. Find out more about ChemSpider in our recent Notes article or access the database to see it for yourself.
Chemistry Education Research & Practice is our free-to-access electronic journal that serves both researchers and practitioners at all levels of chemistry education. Find out more about Chemistry Education Research & Practice.
