If you are facing any legal disputes or have any questions, we can help. For example, if a will was not in place or if there is contention over a will, if a loved one has died abroad, or if you have questions about inheritance tax, Court of Protection or Power of Attorney. Our legal advice service will be able to explain your options and rights.
We have also partnered with one of the country’s largest Citizen’s Advice Bureaus, who can assist with similar issues.
If you find yourself stretched financially as a result of a bereavement, please take a look at our financial support options. If, for example, you need help with the cost of flowers for the funeral, we may be able to help.
Our volunteers are drawn from our strong member community and care very much about the people they support.
If you would like to talk to someone face-to-face who can offer practical support and advice or companionship after a loss, you can request support from local members. To make it as easy as possible for you, they can visit you or your family in your home or meet you somewhere local. Find out more about our volunteers.
