Organisers
EuCheMS
The European Association for Chemical and Molecular Sciences (EuCheMS) aims to nurture a platform for scientific discussion and provide a single, unbiased European voice on key policy issues in chemistry and related fields.
Active since 1970, EuCheMS represents more than 160,000 chemists from more than 40 member societies and other chemistry related organisations.
Via a network of active researchers, EuCheMS promotes the chemical sciences among non-chemists and policy-makers. Through a combination of these promotion efforts and by providing expert and scientific advice, EuCheMS is working toward finding the solution to some of today’s biggest societal challenges.
EuCheMS Young Chemists Network will have a platform at the congress and this content will be developed and listed once confirmed.

Royal Society of Chemistry
We are a not-for-profit organisation and the oldest chemical society in the world. Since 1841 our mission has been to advance the chemical sciences and now, as we celebrate our 175th anniversary, that mission is as relevant as ever. In a complex and changing world, chemistry and the chemical sciences are essential – for our everyday lives and for helping the world respond to some of its biggest challenges.
With over 50,000 members working across academia and industry, we champion and support the global chemistry community as a leading publisher of high-quality chemical science research and information; as the UK’s professional body for chemical scientists; and as a clear and influential voice for chemistry.
We invest in future generations of researchers; we partner with industry, academia and other chemical societies to promote collaboration and raise and maintain standard; and we advise governments and influence policies that support science, innovation and society. We bring together people who believe in chemistry’s ability to change the world.
As a committed member of the European Association for Chemical and Molecular Sciences, it is our honour to continue the EuCheMS traditions of collaboration, advancement and communication by hosting the 7th EuCheMS Chemistry Congress in Liverpool in 2018. We look forward to welcoming you there.
