Scientific Meetings Grant

We are reviewing our Scientific Meetings Grant in light of COVID-19 and are unable to accept applications currently. We will provide further information on this page as soon as we can.

Apply for up to 2000 to support your scientific meeting, including (but not limited to) scientifically enhancing your own existing meetings (international speaker expenses, for example) or fully supporting a "no frills" research meeting or workshop.

The Scientific Meetings Grant is a flexible fund that is awarded by our Divisions to help their communities (both academic and industrial) to advance research, develop networks, foster the next generation of researchers and champion the importance of chemistry. We are also keen to support initiatives that enable research collaboration between members based in different sectors such as academia, government and industry.

Applications are judged every 3 months and the next closing date is:

31 May 2020, for a decision by July 2020.
