This classroom-based course covers all the practical theory about sample preparation, calibration standards, sample properties and data analysis for liquid chromatography and LC-MS.
Packed full of examples and practical tips and includes questions throughout the course and a Q&A session at the end of the day.
The course looks at sample preparation techniques in great detail covering the theory and optimisation and applications of each. Techniques covered include filtration, enrichment & dilution, standards prepared in matrix, Derivatisation, Solid-Phase Extraction (SPE), Solid Phase Micro-Extraction (SPME), Liquid-Liquid Extraction (LLE), QuECHERS and protein precipitation methods.
The course will review calibration standards (internal and external standards).
The course goes on to look at data analysis covering qualitative analysis, identification, quantitation and semi-quantitation. including steps to ensure reproducibility.
