Please note that after the semicolon at the end of the second paragraph on page 961 the text should read ‘the monophosphonite 1b has been previously reported3 and while this work was in progress4 Reetz et al.5 reported the preparation of 3’ (i.e. 2b should be changed to 1b). In addition, please note that in Table 1, entry 13, the catalyst 5e gives the R-enantiomer as product, i.e. (S) should be changed to (R).
