New highly active chiral phosphapalladacycle catalysts. First isolation and characterization of a Pd(IV) intermediate

Jean Michel Brunel, Marie-Hélène Hirlemann, Andreas Heumann and Gérard Buono

Chem. Commun., 2000, 1869 (DOI: 10.1039/b005521m). Amendment published 30th August 2001

The crystal data relating to the intermediate Pd(IV) complex 5 was incorrect as published. The authors have deposited new crystal data at the Cambridge Crystallographic Data Centre with deposition number CCDC 145279. See http://www.rsc.org/suppdata/cc/b0/b005521m/ for the new crystallographic data in CIF format.

Second amendment published 18th October 2001

Please note that in Scheme 1 the structure of 8 was published incorrectly as an acetate instead of a formate. The correct structure is shown below within a redrawn scheme. Also, please note that the correct value for the Pd2–C27 bond distance in 5 should be 2.121(2) Å. As mentioned in a previous corrigendum (above) the authors have deposited new crystal data at the Cambridge Crystallographic Data Centre with deposition number CCDC 145279. See http://www.rsc.org/suppdata/cc/b0/b005521m/ for the new crystallographic data in CIF format.
