There are two independent (F5Ph)3BH molecules in the assymmetric unit. In both of these molecules all the atoms are disordered over two sites. The occupancies ratios are 72:28 and 57:43. With considerable difficulty the 'whole molecule disorder' was modelled in both cases. This required a number of least-squares constraints/restarints. The authors believe that the best possible disorder model has been applied to the structure refinement giving believable geometries for both the minimum and maximum components . However the complexity of modelling the physical disorder againt the X-ray data has manifest in some of the observations described in these B-alerts. ; # end Validation Reply Form
