Unfortunately, there is a naming error in the manuscript. The DNA adduct obtained from reaction with ethylene dibromide followed by enzyme hydrolysis should be S[2-(N7-deoxyguanosinyl)ethyl]glutathione. In the original manuscript, this change should apply to two places:

  1. Page 5387, on the right column, fifth line from the bottom in the last paragraph, S[2-(N7-guanyl)ethyl]glutathione should be changed to S[2-(N7-deoxyguanosinyl)ethyl]glutathione.
  2. Page 5388, in Figure 3 caption fourth line from the top, S[2-(N7-guanyl)ethyl]glutathione should be changed to S[2-(N7-deoxyguanosinyl)ethyl]glutathione.

The m/z 601 for this deoxyguanosine adduct is correct and other results are not affected by the change.
