The penultimate sentence of the Concluding remarks of this Paper should have been amended as follows:

To this end, the replacement of the attendant Bu^tCO₂ ligands, which are known to be kinetically labile to scrambling by less labile ancillary ligands such as formamidinates, seems appropriate. This approach has been well documented by the work of Cotton and Murillo in the preparation of dimers of dimers and molecular loops, triangles, and squares containing Mo₂⁴⁺ units; see, for example: F. A. Cotton, C. Lin and C. A. Murillo, Proc. Natl. Acad. Sci. USA, 2002, 99, 4810–4813.
