The footnote on page 612 should read 'In the process of crystallization of the complex 7b, crystals of a previously unknown chloroform di-solvate of cis-PtCl₂(PPh₃)₂ were isolated and structurally characterized (CCDC reference number 734451, the cif file can be requested from the Cambridge Crystallographic Data Centre via www.ccdc.cam.ac.uk/data_request/cif ) .'

On page 618, the first sentence of the 'Structure determinations' section should read: 'Single-crystal X-ray data were collected using an Oxford Diffraction Xcalibur CCD (4c)...'.
