Each sequence in Fig. 2b is missing a letter. The corrected version of Fig. 2 is given below:

In the caption of Fig. 2: ‘from the 5th to the 9th or 15th residues’ should read ‘from the 5th to the 9th or 14th residues’ and ‘from the 16th to the 20th or 26th residues’ should read ‘from the 16th to the 20th or 25th residues’.

On page 6, 2nd paragraph, line 3: ‘from the 5th to the 9th or the 14th residues of the 31-mer thrombin from the 3' terminal’ should read ‘from the 16th to the 20th or the 25th residues of the 31-mer thrombin from the 5' terminal’.
