In Table 3, fifth column, the literature reference 19 should be deleted: the intended reference is K. Govindaraju, Geostand. Newsl., 1994, 18, 1.

In Table 5 the entry for the element p under ICP-AES should be (650 100) not 1001 as misprinted in the paper.

In Table 8, third column, the wavelength of the ArF laser given in refs. 164 and 200 should be 193 nm, not 163 nm.
