In Fig. 3, the structure of tomatidine is missing an oxygen. The corrected Fig. 3 is shown below.

Fig. 3 Biosynthesis of a novel alkaloid, demissidine, in somatic hybrid plants of Solanum brevidens and Solanum tuberosum. Both parental plants produce teinemine, whereas solanidine and tomatidine are only produced in S. tuberosum and S. brevidens, respectively.^159,161
