In Fig. 1, compounds 3 and 4 should be named cuspareine and galipinine, respectively (and not the other way round, as stated in the text). Likewise in Scheme 6, compound 4 should be labelled as galipinine. The naming of these compounds is correct in the experimental section.

The authors regret the error and thank Dr. Sanjay Batra (CSIR-Central Drug Research Institute, Lucknow 226001, India) for pointing out the mistake.
