The correct signs of the specific rotations of compounds 4a, 4c and 4d are as follows:

(R)-N-(1-Phenylpropyl)-P,P-diphenylphosphinamide 4a. []_D³² +42.3 (c 2.0, MeOH, 98% ee).

N-[1-(2-Naphthyl)propyl]-P,P-diphenylphosphinamide 4c. []_D²⁷ +50.6 (c 3.8, MeOH, 91% ee).

N-[1-(2-Furyl)propyl]-P,P-diphenylphosphinamide 4d. []_D²⁷ +40.0 (c 4.07, MeOH, 91% ee).
