When the authors took the value of KRP = 1, they obtained the values of normalized standard deviation (Δq) identical with those of Freundlich and Modified Freundlich for all the six isotherms. Further values of correlation co-efficient (r2) were also identical with those of modified Freundlich for all the six isotherms.

The authors have checked their calculations and by oversight instead of plotting ln[KRP(Ce/QQe)–1] vs. ln(Ce), equation 1, they plotted ln[KRP(Ce/Qe)]–1 vs. ln(Ce).

The optimum value of KRP for the solution of the linear RP equation was found to be 1000 for all the six isotherms. Using KRP = 1000, values of Δq were almost equal to those of the Freundlich and Modified Freundlich equations. Values of r2 were also found to be better than those of the Langmuir equation and near to unity (table 1)
