Copper(II) oxide on aluminosilicate mediated Heck coupling of styrene with aryl halides in water

In Fig. 5, the assignments included below were missing from the originally published version. The units have also been corrected to Counts/Sec for intensity and eV for binding energy.



The original Fig. 6, an XPS valence spectrum of CuO/aluminosilicate, should be substituted for the XPS core level spectrum of CuO/aluminosilicate shown below.



The figure legend should also be updated to read "Fig. 6 XPS core level spectrum of CuO/aluminosilicate". Finally, the text should be amended to reflect this change with the penultimate sentence on page 2 reading: "Fig. 5 shows the XPS wide-spectrum of CuO/aluminosilicate whereas Fig. 6 shows XPS core level spectrum, which confirmed the formation of copper(II) oxide".

The Royal Society of Chemistry apologises for these errors and any consequent inconvenience to authors and readers.
