The Virtual Library
The RSC Virtual Library is a collection of full text e-books, journals and databases from various publishers and sources which can be accessed by RSC members 24/7 from any internet connected PC anywhere in the world.

Direct access for RSC members
When you click on a link which has a blue 'M' to the right of it, you will be prompted for a username and password:
Username: membership number (first 6 digits)
Password: default is your date of birth (YYYYMMDD format)
If you have previously chosen a new password please use this one.

Access to thousands of abstracts from business, environmental and general science databases. Selected full-text access and now a daily updated database of table of contents.
Member-only access to Chemical Business NewsBase, Chimica and Referex databases.
Springer full text e-journals and e-books

Free full text of 500 e-books and 127 e-journals from Springer
Access to 100 full text e-books in chemistry and related subjects plus over 3,000 general interest e-books from NetLibrary.
Request a password for access to 15 current chemistry journals, 304 e-books, and 108 journal backfiles.
Prepaid tokens from Wiley InterScience.
