Chemical Information and Computer Applications Group
At the beginning of 2007, the Chemical Information Group (CIG) and the Computer Applications Subject Group (CASG) merged to form The Chemical Information and Computer Applications Group (CICAG).
Our aims are to keep users of chemical information and computer applications aware of activities, services, and developments in a rapidly changing area, by organising a programme of formal and informal meetings to describe new developments, to review particular topics and to evaluate and discuss current systems, services and techniques.
Past programmes included meetings on chemical information on CD-ROM, on materials databases, environmental chemicals legislation, internet copyright and on software packages for drawing and manipulating chemical structures and for managing chemical information, including electronic lab notebooks.
Meetings are usually held at Burlington House in London where a well equipped room is available:
