RSC Regions
Within the UK and Ireland, there are 35 Local Sections, each with its own committee and its own programme of events. To address issues on a regional basis and ensure that local active members can meet to discuss common issues, the 35 Local Sections are grouped into nine regions.
An annual meeting takes place in each Region. This brings members of all committees together with officers of interest groups and members of RSC main boards and committees. It provides an opportunity to debate local, regional and national issues.
Regional structure
In 2012 the RSC is launching a new regional structure which will enable and encourage collaboration as well as sharing information and best practice between all of the RSC Networks in each region.
To promote communication and collaboration between all RSC networks there are now nine regional steering groups in the UK and Ireland and a tenth international steering group.
As part of the RSC's consultation with members, an annual meeting is held in each of the nine Regions within the UK and Ireland
