Chemistry Outreach Awards

The RSC values the excellent work that a huge number of individuals do to promote chemistry to the public and we look to recognise these people. Within the Awards portfolio, the Nyholm Award can and has been used for this purpose, and the Inspiration in Industry Award recognises the contribution of an individual in industry to the outreach, promotion or teaching of the chemical sciences.

Awards for Achievement in Promotion of Chemistry
These awards are made to recognise exceptional efforts made by members to generate an interest in chemistry to young people. The nomination process for this is made through Local Sections, and Local Sections are asked to collaborate with other local groups to ensure they represent the members in their area.
We have information on this award available on the Committee for Local Sections webpage.
This is where representatives from the 35 RSC Local Sections meet together
