Symposium Information

The development of molecular machines and devices is a very important aspect of contemporary science and engineering. Chemists are poised to make significant breakthroughs in this area over the next few decades, in endeavours to synthesise and characterise pragmatic systems. The importance and timeliness of this topic can be readily seen from the large number of high impact publications (scientific articles, reviews and books) appearing over the last few years.

The programme is broad, encompassing synthesis, characterisation and computational studies, and we hope that chemists with a range of interests will take the opportunity to discover if their chemistry can be applied to this rapidly developing and exciting field.
