Introduction
This event, now in it's ninth year, is designed to develop closer links between the scientific community in Wales and the National Assembly for Wales and the Welsh Government.
Science and the Assembly is organised in cooperation with a number of sister societies and professional bodies, including the:
- Institute of Physics
- Society of Biology
- Campaign for Science and Engineering
- Society for General Microbiology
- The Institution of Chemical Engineers
- Geological Society
This year's scientific presentations are based on the theme of: Innovation as a Driver for Growth in the Welsh Economy
- 12.30pm - 1.15pm The Pierhead: Registration and Refeshments
- 1.15pm - 5.15pm The Pierhead: Scientific Presentations
- 5.45pm - 7.30pm The Senedd: Buffet Reception with Assembly Members
An Exhibition will be held in the Senedd, from 5.30pm to 7.30pm, a fantastic opportunity for scientific organisations to illustrate their work.
