THE INTERNATIONAL NETWORK OF ENVIRONMENTAL FORENSICS (INEF) 2016 CONFERENCE

Introduction
The conference will include a series of hands-on short courses on Monday 27th. This will be followed by three days of ​plenary talks by invited leading scientists and oral and poster presentations from selected abstracts.
 
The full scientific programme is yet to be decided and we are currently inviting prospective speakers to submit abstracts for oral and poster presentations in all areas of environmental forensics. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:
  • Contaminant and microbial source apportionment and tracking
  • Use of isotope ratios in forensics applications
  • Petroleum fingerprinting and petroleomics
  • Exposomics, biomonitoring and human exposure
  • Identifying emerging organic and inorganic environmental contaminants
  • Multidimensional chromatography (GCxGC, LCxLC)
  • Applications of new technologies (APGC, SS-NMR)
  • Real-time analysis and monitoring
  • Environmental litigation and law
  • Development of signature techniques to source and age contaminant release
  • Presenting complex data in court- challenges and strategies
  • Advanced forensic techniques- visualization, modeling, statistical analysis
