Dalton Younger Members Event (DYME)

7 September 2017 11:00 - 8 September 2017 16:00, Bath, United Kingdom

Introduction
This free event is specifically designed to support PhD students and post-doctoral researchers within the Inorganic community, providing presentation and networking opportunities for early career researchers in a relaxed and friendly setting.

The symposium will feature three inspiring plenary talks, from well-established and early-career academics, and industrial chemists, who will give insights from their own research careers and can give advice about the best way to succeed in an academic environment.

The rest of the conference will consist of a packed schedule of oral and poster presentations by PhD and post-doctoral researchers, offering attendees the opportunity to gain experience in presenting as well as chairing sessions. In addition to poster sessions, there will be a conference dinner in the evening, to allow ample opportunity for networking and for potential collaborations to be discussed.

Registration for this event is free, and is inclusive of lunch and coffee breaks. Accommodation has been organised so attendants can stay in Bath with the minimum expense very cheaply (approx. £40 per night for an en suite room) and delegates have to option to attend the conference dinner (~£15). This is an all-inclusive national event running from 11am on 07/09/17 to 4pm on 08/09/17 to allow everyone to travel to Bath. This can be booked by following the link in this section.

We look forward to seeing you there!

Oral presentations: You will have 15 minutes for your talk, which includes time for some questions.
