Introduction
This symposium will bring together leading researchers from China and the UK in chemical biology in order to share expertise and best practice and discuss cutting edge research and applications. During the course of the two days of the meeting established scientists and outstanding early career researchers will deliver a series of invited talks. In addition, there will be a poster session for young researchers and students to participate with prizes awarded for the best posters.

The theme is chemical biology, which is an area of great importance to human health, supporting the achievement of the sustainable development goals. The symposium is fully supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) and the Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC) and is being held at the Royal Society of Chemistry’s London offices in Burlington House.

Abstract Submission
Abstract Submission for the 2nd Joint NSFC-RSC Symposium on Chemical Biology has been extended until 27th November 2017.

We have recently altered our abstract submission system for authors. Our aim has been to keep the submission process as simple as possible whilst offering improvements.

As before, you will be asked to enter the abstract title and all author names on the first page, however the second page will now ask you to paste the text of your abstract into a text box. You will also have the opportunity to upload images in JPEG format and to add references. There is an overall limit of 500 words per abstract. The third page will show you a preview of your completed abstract before you submit it.

If you have any questions about the submission process, please contact the Royal Society of Chemistry events department.
