2018 Scotland and North of England Electrochemistry Symposium ( RSC Butler Meeting)

25 April 2018 10:00-16:00, Aberdeen, United Kingdom

Introduction
A one-day symposium at which PhD students and PDRAs from across Scotland and the North of England can meet with their peers and present the results of their research in any field related to electrochemistry. Both oral and poster presentation slots will be available, but oral presentations are aimed at PhD students who might otherwise not get the opportunity to speak during their PhD studies. There will also be a keynote lecture at the end of the symposium by an academic of high standing in the field. ‚ÄčThis year, we are delighted to announce that the keynote lecture will be given by Prof. Richard J. Nichols of the University of Liverpool.‚Äč

The symposium is free to attend for all, thanks to the generosity of the RSC Electrochemistry Interest Group, the Scottish RSC local sections and our industrial sponsors. Lunch will be provided, also free of charge. To submit an oral or poster abstract, please complete the attached template and email this as a single-page word document to Dr. Angel Cuesta (angel.cuestaciscar@abdn.ac.uk) by the dates indicated, specifying which type of presentation is preferred. Please also register online through the appropriate link by 18th April 2018 so that we can cater accordingly. We hope to award a prize to the best PhD speaker.
