Introduction

We are pleased to announce The Differences between the Sexes - From Biology to Behaviour on 5 - 6 November 2010 at the European Molecular Biology Laboratory (EMBL) in Heidelberg, Germany. This will be the 11th in the series of Science and Society conferences jointly organized by the EMBL and the European Molecular Biology Organization (EMBO). It continues this well-established series, which annually brings together a wide range of scientists, philosophers, science communicators, policy makers, and members of the public in engaging debate.
