Advances in Transgenic Technology Congress 2017

10 May 2017 08:30 - 11 May 2017 17:30, Boston, United States

Introduction
Oxford Global Conferences are proud to present our unmissable Advances in Transgenic Technology Congress, taking place on the 10th and 11th of May 2017 in Boston, US. The conference programme consists of world-class keynote addresses, bringing together over 200 senior level attendees. Due to an increased sophistication in new technology becoming more widely available to researchers such as CRISPR, the transgenic technology market has grown significantly.

On day one of the conference, our esteemed speakers Thom Saunders, Director of the Transgenic Animal Model Core, University of Michigan and Lev Fedorov, Director of OHSU Transgenic Mouse models Shared Resource, Oregon Health & Science University will discuss state-of-the-art technologies for transgenic genome editing including CRISPR-Cas genome engineering and genotyping strategies.

Day two of the congress presentations will focus on genetics, epigenetics and stem cell manipulation including pluripotent stem cell-based disease models. Speakers include Wojtek Auerbach, Senior Director, Regeneron and John McLaughlin, Director of the Transgenic and Embryonic Stem Cell Core Shared Resource, Ohio State University. Presentations will also cover novel implantation and injection systems.
