Introduction

The aim of the day will be demonstrate to chemistry teachers of all levels new ways to inspire students about the way the chemistry they learn at school interfaces with its application to industry and commerce. The day will consist of briefings by representatives from local industries and an opportunity to take part in a series of workshops to discuss how the topics covered may be able to be incorporated into GCSE or A level chemistry. The workshops will be led by experienced chemistry educators as well as the guest speakers.
