Contemporary Chemistry Evening for teachers and technicians

2 March 2017 17:00-19:30, Southampton, United Kingdom

Introduction
Join us for a fun and informative evening and meet fellow chemistry enthusiasts from around the region. The evening is a carousel of activities, an opportunity to do some hands-on experiments, so a lab coat is a good idea. Our aim is to provide a selection of activities that work, are easily resourced and have sufficient chemical content to challenge the more able. It is delivered by practicing teachers with whom you are welcomed to discuss both chemistry and classroom experience.
Sessions include how to make a colorimeter and demonstrations highlighting the chemistry of Urea.

This event is free for teachers at Learn Chemistry Partnership schools.
