Chemistry and Industry Evening - Electrochemistry

9 November 2017 18:00-21:30, Southampton, United Kingdom

Introduction
Many people consider electrochemistry to be concerned only with energy production and storage. Although very important these are not the only industrial applications of electrochemistry. Electroplating was one of the first industrial applications of electrochemistry in the early 19th century. Today electrochemistry is also used for synthetic chemistry and waste water purification.

This evening aims to illustrate Industrial Electrochemistry with presentations from four companies from the South of England. The evening can be used to support any CPD programme you are undertaking. Certificates of attendance will be provided.

Drinks and a buffet will be provided during the evening, providing an ideal chance for networking.
