Introduction

Students will have the opportunity to explore key scientific ideas through practical activities using familiar objects and resources. Students will hypothesise, design and carry out experiments and extend their thinking through detailed analysis and discussion of results. They will need to be able to work with in a group and as an individual in a focused manner for the duration of the course. Self and group organisation skills will be critical to the successful completion of activities.
