Introduction
“Dr Hilary Hamnett is a Senior Lecturer in Forensic Science at the University of Lincoln and a member of the UK Government’s Advisory Council on the Misuse of Drugs. She will talk about her eight years as a forensic toxicologist, and how analytical chemistry is used in this field to detect alcohol, drugs and poisons in biological fluids. There will be cheese and wine  at 18.00 the talk follows at 18.30 with a Q&A at the end
