Design a Periodic Table Themed Window Covering

Introduction
Why?
2019 has been designated ‘The International Year of the Periodic Table’ by UNESCO, as it is 150 years since Dmitri Mendeleev announced his ground-breaking achievement.
Where?
Aberdeen Science Centre in its temporary home on 107 George Street has two big windows at ground level that can be used for Periodic Table Based Design.
Who?
Anyone with an interest: teams and individual designers from schools, colleges and universities; independent designers etc. Entries are limited to within the region covered by the Aberdeen and North of Scotland RSC Local Section.
How?
The size of the 2 available windows is 2.35 m high by 1.94 m wide. Use an A4 or A3 page in portrait orientation to get the right proportions. We will accept physical and electronic entries.
When?
Deadline for sending designs to aberdeenrsclocalsection@outlook.com (or by mail to Marcel Jaspars, Department of Chemistry, University of Aberdeen, AB24 3UE) is Friday 14 June 2019.
Prize?
To have your design printed and displayed on a window at the Aberdeen Science Centre! The two winning entrants will be notified by Friday 28 June 2019 and their designs will be printed and displayed on the windows soon after that date. Winners will be invited to be at the unveiling of the artwork and have a free visit to Aberdeen Science Centre.
Competition entries will be judged by members of the Aberdeen and North of Scotland Local Section of the Royal Society of Chemistry, and their decision is final.
