Introduction

A demonstration lecture originally designed to celebrate the UNESCO International Year of Light 2015. Retitled for 2019 to celebrate the International Year of the Periodic Table - the 150th anniversary of the most widely used form of the Table, devised by the Russian chemist Dmitri Ivanovich Mendeleev.
