Early Career Network: Chemistry Effects in Nuclear Reactor Accidents

28 January 2021 19:00-20:00, United Kingdom

Introduction
Are you an early career professional working towards chartership, a chemist seeking Continuing Professional Development (CPD) opportunities or simply someone looking for networking events? We recognise that many of the usual opportunities are not available this year and that, as your local section, we have a responsibility to support our members during these challenging times.

We would therefore like to invite you to participate in an online Early Career Network Event – the first of its kind for the Bristol and District Local Section! This event is an opportunity for our early career members to network in a relaxed environment and learn about each other’s research or careers.

Kick-starting 2021, we have Rhiannon May of the National Nuclear Laboratory (NNL) giving a short presentation on “Chemistry Effects in Nuclear Reactor Accidents”. The evening will also include an introduction to the Bristol and District Local Section committee members as well as an open discussion to explore options for future early career events.

Thursday 28th January 2021. Presentation begins at 19:00

Book online.
