Introduction

This is an intensive two-day masterclass that will help you get a deeper insight into:

• Analytical Quality by Design (QbD) and Lifecycle Management
• The Accelerated Stability Assessment Programme (ASAP model)
• Forced Degradation Studies
• New areas of ICH harmonization
• Measures to improve drug stability

A series of practical exercises will take place throughout the course to give you the opportunity to apply the obtained knowledge under the guidance of the trainer, Dr. Mark Powell.

The Masterclass is intended to provide the latest insights on different aspects of stability testing. This will be opened by an overview of stability testing with a special focus on important changes in current revisions of ICH Guidelines. Important aspects of stability testing for biologicals and throughout drug development will be discussed with additional sessions on stability testing for Drug Substances, followed by a discussion on Drug Products and a risk-based approach for stability testing covering different climatic zones.
