Webinar: Chartered Chemist for academic staff (lecturers and technicians), PhD students and researchers

30 November 2021 12:00-13:00, United Kingdom

Introduction
Join us for a webinar about becoming a Chartered Chemist with the Royal Society of Chemistry.
Those based in academia, whether you are a lecturer, technician, PhD student or a post-doctoral researcher can apply for CChem. However, CChem is a competence-based award, and we know how difficult it can be to talk about your work in this context rather than focusing solely on academic output.

In this webinar, we aim to address these points and help prepare you to apply for CChem.

We will cover:
  • Eligibility and what qualifications and experience you need
  • Finding a suitable mentor to support you through your application
  • The online process
  • The evidence you need to submit to become a Chartered Chemist
The webinar will be delivered by Chartered Chemist members of staff of the Royal Society of Chemistry Accreditation team. We are experienced in reviewing all the applications for Chartered Chemist, and regularly help our members based in a variety of roles, within and outside of the United Kingdom.
