Igniting Innovation

21 March 2022 15:00-16:30, London, United Kingdom

Introduction
Join us for the Royal Society of Chemistry’s ‘Igniting Innovation’ event on Monday 21 March, 15:00 to 16:30. You can join online or in person at Burlington House, London.

The event launches our new research on how to support innovation in Deep Tech chemistry SMEs aiming to tackle future social and environmental challenges and brings together players from the innovation ‘ecosystem’, to catalyse conversations on how best to support Deep Tech companies.

As well as a keynote talk from George Freeman, the Minister of State for Science, Research and Innovation, the day will consist of a presentation of the report findings, a panel discussion featuring innovation experts, an entrepreneur, funders and policymakers, and audience questions and discussion. Our event panellists:

Jo Slota-Newson, IQ Capital
Giovana Laudosio - CEO Naturbeads
Paul Mason FRSC - Director at IUK
Professor Stephen Roper - Enterprise research centre, Warwick Business School
Panel Chair: Helen Pain

You can join online or in person at Burlington House, Piccadilly, London (the latter subject to numbers). There will be networking and light refreshments afterwards for in person attendees.

We hope that you can join us for this exciting event.
