Fully booked: A Question of Taste

Introduction
Have you ever wondered why some people love sprouts and others really dislike them.  Well come along to this workshop being hosted for us by the Oxford University Museum of Natural History to find out.  You’ll be isolating your own DNA to analyse and compare your bitter taste receptor gene with your ability to taste phenylthiocarbamide (PTC), which contains a bitter compound similar to those found in sprouts.
