Top of the Bench West Country - Expression of Interest - Being able to communicate scientific ideas to the public is more important than ever - this year our Top of the Bench District Heat will be an online poster competition. Each team will be asked to prepare a scientific poster based on current important areas of chemistry (topics to be defined by the committee) and post it online through your school's social media account. The competition will be judged by a panel made up of the RSC Bristol and District Committee based on visual impact, scientific content, and response to public questions.
This Top of the Bench competition is open to schools in the Bristol & District Local Section, which covers all ‘BS’ postcodes (Bristol and surrounds), ‘BA’ postcodes (Bath and surrounds), ‘GL’ postcodes (Gloucester and surrounds), all bar one of the ‘SN’ postcodes (Swindon and surrounds) and 12 out of the 19 ‘TA’ postcodes (Taunton districts).
