Introduction

This event is designed to give a taste of university life, but focuses on improving core understanding and examination performance in A-level Chemistry. An interactive lecture and workshop sessions will highlight common errors (and how to avoid them), and help instil 'chemical common sense' with examples carefully chosen by experienced A-level school teacher and teacher-fellow of the University, Dr Kristy Turner, supported by staff and postgraduate students. There will also be a peek at some cutting edge research in the department. Please note, this session is timed in the Easter break and is for Year 12 students only.
